Get ready for some action this Christmas! Varun Dhawan is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming movie “Baby John,” an action-packed film that will surely keep you on the edge of your seat.

The movie was first announced under the title “VD 18,” hinting at it being Varun’s 18th film. Initially, it was supposed to hit theaters in May 2024. However, for reasons that haven’t been made public, the release date had to be changed.

The wait is finally over! The makers have officially revealed the new release date for “Baby John” along with a brand new poster to get fans even more excited. Mark your calendars – “Baby John” will be hitting theaters on December 25th, 2024!

Varun himself took to social media to announce the release date with a message that’s sure to raise the excitement level. He wrote, “This Christmas is going to be extra special! Get ready for ‘Baby John,’ releasing on December 25th.”

“Baby John” is directed by Kalees and is a joint presentation by Jio Studios and filmmaker Atlee. The movie is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande.

What else is on Varun’s plate?

Varun Dhawan also has a web series coming up! He will be seen alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in “Citadel: Honey Bunny.” This web series is the Indian version of the American show “Citadel,” which starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden as secret agents. There have been rumors that Varun might play the role of Priyanka’s father in the Indian version.

In “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” Varun will portray Rahi Ghambir, also known as Bunny. This character was briefly introduced in the American version, where Priyanka’s character Nadia Sinh was seen listening to an audio message from Rahi, who is supposedly her father. Since the Indian version is set in the 1990s, it’s expected that Varun and Samantha will play Nadia’s parents in the show.

“Citadel: Honey Bunny” is expected to release on Prime Video sometime in 2024.

Varun also has another movie lined up – “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” – where he will be seen sharing screen space with actress Janhvi Kapoor once again. His latest movie, “Bawaal,” is currently streaming on Prime Video.
