Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Day 8: Rajkummar Rao & Wamiqa Gabbi’s Sci-Fi Rom-Com Nears…

18 Years of Taxi No 9211 EXCLUSIVE: “After Ab Tak Chhappan, no one cast Nana Patekar for 1 ½ years. He was sitting at home. I was the one who thought of him” – Milan Luthria
18 years ago, a movie called Taxi No 9211 was released. It was a hit and people loved it for its story, funny moments, songs and the way the two main actors acted together. The director, Milan Luthria, shared some interesting stories about how he made the movie.
He wanted Nana Patekar to play one of the main roles, but nobody else was hiring him at that time. So, Milan called him up and they met to talk about the movie. Nana liked the story and agreed to do it.

Then, Milan wanted John Abraham for the other lead role. John wasn’t sure, but his girlfriend at the time, Bipasha Basu, convinced him to do it.
The movie was a success, but there was one problem. In the movie, a character gives out a phone number. This number actually belonged to a real person, a young girl named Nessy John. After the movie came out, she started getting a lot of calls from people who thought they were calling the character in the movie. Some of the calls were even rude.
Milan Luthria was surprised by this and said that they just made up the number. He’s more careful now and uses fake numbers in his movies.
Interestingly, the number used in the movie now belongs to Nana Patekar! It’s not clear if he bought the number or if it’s a prank by a fan, but it’s a strange coincidence.
