Vicky Kaushal wins Best Actor Award for “Sam Bahadur”

At the recent Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival, Vicky Kaushal won the Best Actor (Critics) award for his role in the movie “Sam Bahadur.” He couldn’t attend the ceremony but sent a video message thanking the jury, director Meghna Gulzar, and the entire team for their support. He also thanked the family of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw for their help and the viewers for watching the film.

“Sam Bahadur” tells the story of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw, who led the army to victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan. Other big winners at the awards included Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga for their work in “Jawan.”
